This was one of those pictures where my only idea was to draw as many crystals as possible and go bonkers with the pink colour palette. I actually can’t remember anything else about working on this than having the track “Crystal Peak” from the game Hollow Knight on repeat for hours since it suited the atmosphere so well.
I drew this on strongly textured paper, which made inking it challenging. The colour scheme is unusual for these characters and I’m not sure I’d use it again, but it was still a fun experiment.
