Early concept art, part 2

More illustrations and concept pictures from the time when the characters’ designs and personalities were still taking shape. Mostly pictures of Theodius and Giendei, but Luuneyd and Zirekel do also pop up in a couple of them.

Midnight conversations. First peek into Theodius’s tower room the way I pictured it back then.
Sleeping sun. This is a very old picture, but I still like the mood a lot.
At the tavern. Finally, a first look at the other characters, such as Luuneyd and Zirekel. Sofia has finally discarded her Christmas hat.
Winter Solstice celebrations. This one properly illustrates, for the first time, how small Theodius is in comparison to the rest of the party.
