Cover illustration for my short story Champion of Light. I would one day like to write and draw a longer story featuring these two, but we’ll see when I find the time to do so.
This was a very challenging piece thanks to the armour and the inking style I chose to use for it, but I’m still very pleased with the results. I’d pictured this specific pose in my head since I started drafting the short story, so finally sitting down to draw it felt very satisfying.
