Recently, I’ve been really attracted to this sort of composition in my illustrations (which I’d drawn several times with various characters throughout the year), and naturally I had to draw Hawk and Ren’i in one, too. The background shows just the tiniest peek at the Melkem world map, as well as symbols related to the changing seasons and turning of the year.
