I got my hands on a round watercolour pad recently and naturally I couldn’t resist testing it with Hawk and Ren’i. My colour palettes for them tend to be rather earthy, mostly because a great chunk of their story takes place in the desert, but I wanted to make at least one illustration of them with my favourite colours. I’m pretty happy with the outcome – it turned out rather dream-like, which does suit them well.
