Ropecon is coming soon, are you ready? It’s the end of July, and I’m at the Artist Market of Ropecon with my friend Sadyna this week from Friday till Sunday! We’ll be selling and showcasing our artwork together, so welcome for a visit!
Just like last year, Ropecon is located in the Helsinki Fair Trade Centre (Messukeskus) right by Pasila train station. You can find the Artist Market in the Vendors’ Hall, which is hall 6b on the bottom floor, close to the parking lot entrance of the Fair Trade Centre. Our table is D14, see the below map for instructions.
As usual we come bearing a selection of comics and illustration zines, some examples below.
We also offer a wide selection of prints and postcards sporting colourful fantasy-themed art for all your gay wizard and demon needs. If romantic fantasy is your thing, well, we just might have something a little special for you.
You’ll also find stickers and sticker sheets, a small selection of acrylic charms, Auraboo’s original watercolour and ink illustrations for collectors, and mystery bags for those who can’t quite decide what to pick. Mystery bags are, like the name says, a mystery in terms of their contents and what you get varies from bag to bag, but they can contain, for example, art/comic zines, small prints, postcards, stickers, small originals, and so on.
