The centaur theme continues with Hawk and Ren’i. It took me a couple of months to work on this – the poses and layout proved troublesome, not the mention having to figure out horse anatomy on top of everything else. I’m very happy with the outcome despite the struggle!
The wisteria (literally called ‘blue rain’ in Finnish) is one of those trees I’d love to see with my own eyes one day. They just look magical in all the photos I’ve ever seen, though for an artist’s perspective all those teeny tiny blossoms are something of a nightmare…
I also made this chibi style drawing of them for practice. Ren’i’s tail became white once I decided that palomino colouring suited him better.
